does any one know if the p@h cat litter (wood pellet) is the same as their small animal litter only packaged differently?
It is to go between the fleece and newspaper in areas they wee in lots to drain off the excess. plus the price difference is astronomical
(ie 4.88 for 15 litres as cat litter, compared to 3.22 for 7 litres for small pets)

I don't know the answer but hope someone does, I use this under hay in my litter trays and use two bags a week.

I know that 2 are definately the same:

They are "beauticat" which you can get in 15 litre bags in Sainsbury's and Tesco's wooden cat litter.

It is amazing so many of us use it...

I have just looked at the cat litter as i use it for my cat and it is lightly pine scented which the small animal litter isnt as above i dont think beauticat is scented as is a good price to!

So are you saying these two brands are safe to use with the pigs ?

Beauticat has a natural pine scent it is not scented using chemicals so will be exactly the same as the small pet litter but much cheaper at 14.95 for 30L i have checked out my tesco bag of cat litter and it says it has a light pine scent but is 100% natural so would be safe to.

I went to P&H earlier and looked at the cat litter and the packet actually says also suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, chins etc So I think it is the same product packaged and priced differently

Hi
I've been using the Pets at Home and the Tesco wooden pellet cat litter under fleece for the last year and its worked really well for me.
I put it in the compost bin when I clean them out, so less rubbish in the wheely bin too!:)
