Hi everyone, I've been out and bought everything I need to get going (I think) and I thought we'd have our little piggies outside, which means I've bought a wooden hutch, but now, the more I think about it, I think I'd like to have them indoors with us (if I can find somewhere to put them and I can convince the other half). Problem is, I can't afford to, or be allowed to go out and get an inside cage now. I have thought about selling the hutch on as it's not used, just been made up in the garden for a week, but then I thought I'd like to keep hold of it so when I can afford an inside cage I can put this in the garden for daytime use.

Anyway, what I am getting at, (albeit slowly :) ) is there any reason why I shouldn't be using a hutch indoors? Do any of you guys have inside hutches?

Well, that's it, the hutch is inside. Still haven't decided on a permanent location but I'm feeling much better about things now.

All we have to do now is find some little piggies :))

I have a large 2 storey hutch (6ft) from p@h. It's in my daughters room we have 5 piggies in total, I've taken the ramp out and have 2 upstairs and 3 downstairs and because its low level when they are having floortime they all use the bottom level. Best thing I ever did getting rid of the indoor houses and swapping for the hutch. The girls seem much happier to.

Yeah, ours is a 4ft, 2 storey hutch. I'm a bit concerned about the hole where the ramp is and the ramp itself, gonna fit a balustrade tomorrow :)

Only Maisie used the ramp, I was rather glad about that because the ramp was rather steep and the was no edging and I was afraid of them falling off. So the decision to make 2 separate levels was easy.
