Just saw this under the veg I was preparing for the piglets. Is it just a baby earth worm? I threw it outside.
I'm not sure where it came from and don't want to throw away all their veg packets, but don't want the piggies getting leeches or tape worm or something.

Looks like an earth worm to me. Just wash and check the veg. I’m sure it will be fine. 😃

I used to get an organic veg bag from a local grower. And everything was phenomenally tasty, but there was so much muck and so many critters getting first bite I used to have to take the whole thing straight outside to wash in a big bowl of water, fishing all the wildlife out and chucking it onto the soil. Slugs, snails, worms, spiders, earwigs... just general leggy things hiding away in there. It's rare to get passengers from the supermarket but it does happen!

Keep the worm - they're good for the soil 😜
