Worming & Mite treatments.

I'm getting some guinea pigs soon and I was wondering if I should ask when they were last wormed & had mite treatment?

How often should piggies be wormed & have mite treatment?

And which are the best poducts?

Its all personal opinion. No right or wrong answer for me, Mite treatment when necessary, and worming every 3 months. Other people mite treat monthly etc, others dont even bother. All a matter of opinion.

Ditto to what Abi_nurse has said, mine are wormed every 3 months, and treated for mites as and when required. xx

Now which wormer is suitable?

Panacur is safe and suitable to use with piggies. 0.4ml per pig (make sure its the 2.5% stuff though)
