I read an article on piggie worming today and wondered how often I should do it. I don't have any panancur at the moment is the PAH stuff ok to use on piggies and whats the dosage?

Whats the PAH stuff? You can get Panacur from PAH if need be. I worm my piggies every 3-4 months, but i think you can do it up to every month if need be. Are they indoor or outdoor piggies? If theyre outdoor i'd probably worm them more often than if they were indoor.

x.

They are indoor piggies but there hay is not sterisle, it from a local farm because its nice and green and really long stranded and much more cost effective than oxbow.
The stuff at PAH( pets at home pet shop) is panacur but is not liquid its stuff you need to mix up yourself.
Ive read you should give ivomec as well for worming as well as panacur is that correct?

You shouldn't self medicate your pigs without advice from a vet, as only they can confirm the correct dosage.

I recommend you discuss this with them.

I personally do not worm routinely as I have never found the need/been advised to by my vet who is very cavy savvy.
