Worried about neutering

Just given him a mini bath, dont think i was successful in putting it back in. he's currently wrapped up like a little bug in my arms.

i would try putting some vasiline on it to keep it lubracated even if it wont go back in, i would also take him the vets incase he does have a water infection, I'm more worried about the wetness than the penis issue - to put your mind at rest x

It did look like your first pic doeylicious before. But now it looks fatter and his two little 'antenies' are sticking out. (I dunno what they're actually called but makes it look like a slugs head). He's not happy now as had to comb his back end so it doesn't knot.

the pointy things are normal it aids fertility when not neutered, these were out in the rescue boar i had here, put some vasiline on it, some times internal swelling can cause it this can happen in boar been neutered if it was out all the way then thats a problem as it can be come infected x

Right here is JoJo in all his manly glory

And you better have a photo of his face, cos it's a bit mean to just show his bits!

awwww bless him. thank you. It's slightly weirder looking than that! Going to see how he is tomorrow morning, I've put some vaseline on it for tonight. But def going to ring the vet for advice tomorrow.

Better safe than sorry. Wanda and Sam are pretty guinea savvy if Ann is not around.

JoJo is sulking a bit now...better buy him some parsley tomorrow!

Sam couldn't have been nicer on Friday when we rushed Little Blackie in, best thing I ever did moving us to that vets.

Got to fit it all in now :{ Was meant to be going to uni then gym then out for a meal.. all gona have to be rearranged now!

Ah the joys of animals, the only night I wasn't at the vets last week was Tuesday, every other night I was at the vets!

Told the OH we need to buy a house in Ewell :))

Realised I never updated on how things are! Went to visit Anne to make sure Fraz was ok, turns out he's fine and I'm just paranoid :p
The only thing is he's a bit 'prolapsed' like an older boar but it doesn't seem to be an issue as he's fine in himself etc. So he has recovered absolutely fine from the op :)
No charge for the check up either! I like my vet :))

I'm so glad its all ok, i have only just caught up on this thread, i had my boy done just over 2 years ago, it all went well, about a week after we saw a red tube sticking out from the wound so took him to the vets and they just cut it off, i think it was once of the stitches or something.

However the day i dropped him off i cried and cried, (i had taken the day off work,) we dropped him off at about 8.30am and they said they would call between 2 and half past that afternoon with an update, 4 o'clock came round and no call.......we assumed the worst, so i cried some more, called them and struggled to get my words out and tell them who i was, they said he was doing well and we could pick him up in an hour and then i cried even more but these were happy tears and said thank you, they must have thought i was a right nut.

I'm glad too :)
It has been almost a month as he was neutered on 14th February (How ironic!)
Got him out for a cuddle this morning as he seemed to be having a strop and turned his house upside down. After some cuddling he fell asleep on me, was adorable he's never done that before!
