Worrying lumps on my piggy's nipples

A couple of days ago I noticed two identical lumps on my piggy's nipples. The lumps are on the bottom of her nipples and it looks like they are covered in dried-up puss. None of the nipples are leaking and she certainly isn't pregnant. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks in advance.
Carrie is a rescue pig, so I'm not sure if she was ever breed from and I don't know much about her background. She is now about 6 years old, I've had her for two years and she hasn't been spayed. I'm trying to get a photo of the lumps but it's difficult considering she has back problems, too. :...

It could possibly be a fungal infection but I've personally not come across what you descibed in any of my pigs so I'm not sure ( not much help I know! ) Are the lumps small, large, scabby etc? It could also possibly by cysts. It may be worth just taking her to the vets for a checkup

I'm sure someone will be along soon with some advice.

One of our pigs has crusty Nipples, we took her to the vet last year and he said he couldn't find any sign of cysts by feeling her but they may be small.

Another charecteristic of Ovarian Cysts is hairs loss, is your piggie experiencing this?

Nah, she's not lost any hair - think I'll have to take her to the vet, I guess. Never come across this before - it's a weird one. Thanks for your help and I'll look up ovarian cysts shortly.

We had a sow in here with crusty nipples which we treated with cream from Gorgeous Guineas successfully but she turned out to have ovarian cysts.

It could be fungal, in which case an antifungal cream like canasten or daktarinngold (for humans) would help. But the word 'lumps' bothers me- are they swollen?

It can be hormonally caused, but could it be this? Best have it seen by a vet!

They did look swollen when I first spotted them, but not any more. I can't really explain the appearance of them now, a photo would probably do the best job. It looks like she has now ripped the "dried puss" from one nipple and, in turn, has left a hole almost, so there's no lump there. It looks like there's no infection, though. Ahhh, really can't describe it - will get some photos tonight. Thanks for all the help.
