My guinea had blood in her urine. I've been monitoring it and giving her meds according to vet. I keep her on this water-resistant vinyl mat with bedding. I wanted to see if she was peeing blood, so for awhile I didn't put any bedding. If she was peeing blood would it probably stain the mat? I did notice some urine that was orange and all but it went away and didn't leave any stain. I was just wondering to see if she is still peeing blood and all.

Blood tends to dry as a brown patch on bedding.
It’s not likely to stain a water resistant mat as it should run off and absorb into whatever type of bedding you are using
Orange urine is usually oxidisation which is a normal process and not of concern.
