Okay, I'm posting again, because I'm freaking out. I'm sorry guys!
So, a while back, Midnight had crust on his eyes. I brought him to the vet, and they said it was allergies. Then a couple days ago, I found blood in his urine and he was in pain while urinating. I brought him back to the vet, and this time they scheduled me with the vet that performed his surgery, which I was happy about. She said that Midnight had extra skin on his anus, which had caused a fungal infection and consequently a UTI, OR he developed a UTI, and then a fungal infection. She said it's hard to say which happened first. After reading a bunch of other things, I'm beginning to think it was a yeast infection. Is that contagious to his cagemate?
Has anybody else dealt with this?
She prescribed him Baytril for 10 days, a cleaning solution, and panalog ointment to be applied twice a day after cleaning.
She said that if this didn't clear up after the ten days, we would have to take an X-ray to check for bladder stones.
It seriously breaks my heart to see him in so much pain while peeing. Is there anything else I can do for him?

One of my pigs had yeast overgrowth on her skin (she had a lot of health problems and a compromised immune system and was on long-term antibiotics, which probably all contributed to it.) Neither of her cagemates ever caught it, as I think she was susceptible due to her chronic disease burden, whereas they were healthy with normal immune systems. It did affect her with pain, though, only made her itchy and lose fur. It did clear up with an antifungal cream.

I'm so sorry for her! Midnight seems to be a lot better today so I'm hoping it'll all clear up.
