Are these ok in moderation for the pigs? I have a bag for my hammy, he very rarely has them but I am trying to get the pigs to eat from my hand and on my lap and veggies aren't working, I thought an exciting treat might help.

Would 1 or 2 be ok for them just to train them? My hammy is very friendly even though I am still nervous with him! :o

Will they not take veggies atall from your hand? You get chocolate drops for guinea pigs but mine hate them.

I find there favourite veg works... Pebbles finds any type of food will work for her :))

Ages ago, they had pepper and basil from my hand but haven't done since.

These are for all small animals so I might try 1 and see what happens. Both my hammies loves(d) them.

They may do as a very occasional treat, but generally, dairy and sugar isn't good for any rodent!

Chocolate is toxic to all animals apart from humans.

Dairy and sugar really aren't good for them either.

My bunnies and guinea-pigs love apple; have you tried them with small pieces of fruit? We eventually got our guinea-pigs to eat out of our hands; we kept picking them dandelions out of the lawn. Keep trying and relax with them; I think it just takes a while for them to build trust.

Mine love parsley too and I'm sure yours will as its a big hit with most piggys. I'm sure they will happily take the parsley out of your hands! :))
