I have 7 as I said and we all live together in my studio flat, I work full time, am single and devote ALL my spare time to my piggies. All my friends are married or have partners and families, I have tried all that and prefer to live alone with animals!
I don't hoard them, I do find it hard work some evenings, but when I put my key in the door and hear them all squeaking and then I walk into the room and all eyes are on me, I'm glad I've got 7! I may even have 8 soon!

They are all my little buddies, all have different personalities, like tickles a different way and range in age from 6yrs - 8wks and without whom life would be dead boring!

Hoarders are just collectors.
 
Aww Sammy, I was the same with Cuzzy. I wasn't supposed to get him. But I sulked all around Tescos after seeing him in Pets at Home. Got home and Peter said go and get him. Thankfully he was still in the shop! But I knew I'd have to stop getting them, there are only so many boars you can have living together! :)

Then I got my girls, and they are rescues and I couldn't be without them now! :)
 
I'm happy with my little group of 4 right now but when both spaceand funds allow id love to add just 2 more to my clan :smitten:
 
well I've caught the addiction, I started out with two in march this year named them after my dad :'(, but then one died and left me with just one piggie, I loved him enough to know he wasn't happy with just me so let him live with a friend who had a boy of a simular age to him. I thought my addiction was over, how wrong could I be? I'm just about to get two new ones, maybe 3 but sssssshhhhhhh, me mum don't know that yet lol

of course I'm also very addicted to bunnies as well lol
 
well in a perfect world i really wouldnt have chosen to have 12, but as i ended up with two pregnant sows by no fault of my own ...I'm LOOKING AT YOU ROMEO! ;D ...... its just the way it is... I cannot bear to part with them and although near enough all of my day is taken up with them I'm happy. I'm NOT planning to get anymore.
I was going to get another rabbitt after my two died but ive decided against. I still have my house bunnie who really is not a pet she is a family member.
Now i have all my wheekers I dont think its good to add to my numbers with more bunnys.
Maybe one day, I'm still grieving for the two that passed. :'(
 
Aww Clare you have your hands full. So you aren't rehoming any babes? It's tough not sure I could do it. Did Romeo get in with the girls? These things happen, that was my biggest fear when the pigguns in the shed so I brought them in to save my nerves! :D When the boys escaped from their pen I thought Oh God where are the girls but they were fine in their igloo! It was a close call too close for my liking! :D

Boys who'd have 'them! :)
 
No what happened was Romeo was bought along with his mum as a mother and daughter... he was called Bambi then. The pet shop (i know but i know better now) wrongly sexed him. By the time i saw Bambi had a winky it was job done girls already preg! thats why i called him romeo

I'm actually happy with two lol. If I had a job/my parents had more money and I had more room then I'd definately get more...but at the moment if I got more I don't think we'd be able to afford them, nor would I have enough room so yeah ;)
 
I'm very happy with two, but if i feel i can give lots more love and cuddles to another piggie. i wouldnt go past 3 though i wouldnt have the space and i wouldnt want mine to have to share me and their space with lots more piggies. I'm not rushing into getting a third but if i ever came across one i fell in love with i would consider it :)
 
Guinea pigs are addictive...When i first got mine i was looking at them about every 30 mins... XD
