So the other day I was eating a clementine and well Zee started off on a crazy wheek, wheek marathon until I would give her something. So I thought maybe let her try a segment of my clementine (I don't really ever give citrus to her, in fact I have only done so once before)

So she took a couple of nibbles before the video, but watch and see what your verdict is.

No Likey?

x

She's so funny when she doesn't like something she has a little bit of an over reaction in my opinion. It's normally the smell if she doesn't like the smell she won't even take a bite!

Yuuup! She really didn't like it, it tasted just fine to me...:))

I guess she dosen't like that! My Charlie only has a bit of orange maybe once a week but he goes mad for it. The juice drips down his chin and turns him orange lol. He even eats the peel.

Mine are terrified of clementines / oranges. The won't even get that close to it, they run off and hide, nothing else causes that reaction! Daft things. :))

Charlie eats anything. I caught him eating a mint plant the other day, I didn't even know they liked that.

My girlies won't eat any kind of fruit ?/

I even tried putting bits of apple in their bowl, so they knew it was edible, but nope...they ate around it rolleyes

And banana made them hide in their pigiloo and they would not come out until the banana was removed from the vicinity!

Orange peel is what they recommend putting in the garden to prevent cats from digging, so it's obviously something about the strong smell.

Yeah I thought so about it being the smell she won't eat brocolli or bell pepper and the scent is quite obvious. Wow really it stops cats, is that proven or a myth?

Aww bless them, piggies really do have an over reaction when comes to disliking things, hey?

Sooo cute I was hoping she'd love it like that, but I guess not. At least she took a bite :(
:)) mine aren't too sure about it either!
I personally don't like the texture so I don't blame them but I still eat them because of the benefits. I thought it would be good for her vitamins and such. I dunno.
I know citrus isn't to great for them either...so I am confused. Ha haa.

The piggies next door love rosemary, so asda had some reduced.. it did smell quite strong. Anyway I tried Bertie who recoiled in absolute horror and shot into his pigloo. Took some to the girls, who think absolutely everything is supposed to be eaten even the brush when I sweep them out. Sniff! Sniff! squeak and ran to the other end of the cage. I think that is 3 thumbs down! The piggies next door ate it in the end!rolleyes

mine eat all kinds of herbs, 18 little piggys got into the herb garden during the summer time ,l had lefted a pile of seed trays at the side of the rised garden , great! l think it was tergon who lead the way up, hes always climing.by the time l saw them ,they had nearly cleared the garden.14'x 5' garden. so now l buy reduced herbs and leave them hiden around the grounds for them to find.

My Caramel loves satsuma - she only has it very occasionally but she loves it, she'll be there with juice dripping down her chin then she'll try and lick her chin/chest to get the juice. So cute :)

:)) not a fan lol! Some food gives them definite reactions doesn't it. Cookie will run and hide in her pigloo if she gets a whiff of banana :))

Zee is beautiful by the way.

Whhhaaat! That's crazy Tergon the leader of the herb garden destroyers, maybe I should try a herb next. Hmm, perhaps she'll like them. Well you can only try it.

Yeah they sure do!
Well Zee would be offended by that banana hatred off Cookie. Lol. Sometimes Zee will like squeal at me for putting such a horrible food in front of her!
Liiike today when I offered bell pepper...so we traded for a carrot instead.
