zoe was Caspers wife,he passed away in november.Zoe was very sassy lady,joined the Matthew and skinny pig herd.She was off her food,taking syringe feed well.unfortunatley i went to take her out for her feed before 11pm,i found Zoe in her forever sleep.she was 6 years old.I'm shocked she has gone,but she is with Casper now,who she had a strong bond with.Farewell Zoe,you will be missed.

I am so sorry. Not the way you want to start into the new year. The loss of a beloved companion can really tip the balance for an older piggy. :(

My ca. 6 years old Teggy has also lost a lot of weight since losing both her younger mates in August/September and despite living with a young husboar of her own choice, who she emphatically welcomed. :(

RIP Zoe - popcorn young and healthy again with Casper at the Rainbow Bridge!

Thanks everyone for your support.I'm beginning to think it's something I'm doing wrong.ive lost a few guinea pigs recently.
 
Sorry for your loss @eileen . :hug: I'm sure you're not doing anything wrong - you have a lot of piggies, so you're going to get periods with multiple illnesses and piggies passing. Negative things seem to be like London buses, they rarely come along singly.

It’s natural to doubt yourself after a spate of losses but you are a great piggy slave, Eileen. It’s nothing you are doing or not doing. It’s just what happens when you have a number of piggies at any one time. Big hugs xx
