Hello all!

My boy has floor time in a room that has a laminate/wood floor so it’s slippery. I currently put a bunch of towels down so he can zoomy around as much as he wants, which he absolutely loves! As he is zooming though, the towels get all messed up as they slide around the floor and I’m concerned about him maybe hurting himself (because he’s a lunatic!). Plus, once they slide and hunch up, his zoom space gets smaller and smaller! 😆

Any suggestions for matting/pads which are easy to store and set up and which won’t slide about?

Thanks!

I have used strips of left over carpet when neighbours have had new ones laid. I now use a couple of large fleece cage liners (5x2 grid size). I can wash these when needed if peed on which isn't very often and they are heavy enough not to slide. I have wondered about those children's play squares that slot together they have a bumpy non slip surface and are wipe cleanable.
