I have just heard the sad news that my mother and father in laws cat Delilah has been pts. She was only 6 years old :(

She kept on licking her back leg despite the in laws best efforts to stop her. Still, her leg had gone gangrene and there was little the vet could do :(

Delilah was my cat Dexter’s mummy.

So sorry to hear this sad news. My sister in laws cat died suddenly a few months ago. Also aged 6 and no visible problems. Even with a full vet check up every 6 months. Shocking, guessing it was heart related
 
So sorry, I lost my beloved cat Mabel 12 months ago.
So sad that she was only young.

Claire pls send my sympathy to your mother and father in law pls. . losing any loved pet at any time is hard. 6 for a cat is not old enough so they must be hurting.
