guinea pig summer

So I'm a new guinea pig owner and it's spring getting really hot cause it's almost summer and I read that for some guinea pig it's important to cut there hair so they don't overheat and I wanted to know if maybe Zoey my piggy in the picture should have her hair cut and of so how much?? Help...
