So I'm a new guinea pig owner and it's spring getting really hot cause it's almost summer and I read that for some guinea pig it's important to cut there hair so they don't overheat and I wanted to know if maybe Zoey my piggy in the picture should have her hair cut and of so how much?? Help please

You haven't attached the photo. There should be a button below to "attach files" so you can show us what Zoey looks like

Hi and welcome!
Here are our hit weather tips: Hot Weather Management and Heat Strokes

I give my long-haired piggies, especially those with a thick coat a rather radical haircut during hot weather, and repeat if necessary; but then let the hair grow back Autumn and Winter, just keeping the hairs at the bum end (especially around genitals and legs) and on the sides cut short to minimise the risk of matting and soiling.

Here is my Caron pre and after summer haircut; she had masses of very fine hair.

And here is my Tegan showing how the 'undercarriage' looks before and after a trim:

Do you have a set of clippers you would recommend? Pickle is poofy rather than long-haired, so I don't want to hurt her by accidentally pulling on her floof with them!

Small dog or cat clippers are just fine. I use scissors, but I don't have rex-type longhairs like you where clippers are much easier.
