Good luck, have a blast with your little piggles and POST PIGTURES!

Thank you! Oh I will, expect some spam with pigtures drool ^) :(|) Again, a very very very special thank you to Lilly for helping these boys come home! x>>x>>x>>x>>x>>

What a lovely post. It's always great to hear about piggies getting a home. It's a special time and such an awesome feeling. Enjoy your precious pigs! :<>

They are! They are very sweet! The agouti boy (who has no name at this moment) is very friendly, the aby boy is shy, but seems like he will warm up in a bit ;) They have no names (well, they were both called Pig, but don't respond to it), so new names are in order ;) Here they are!

Oh, and the best thing? The guy brought 28 of the cubes to make a larger cage! I am so happy! This guy really cared about them, the supplies brought is amazing. I don't know the full circumstances as to why they were parted with, but they are in a forever home now :D

Lovely boys x) The Aby looks a bit like my mad bed haired boy, Chopper x)

Enjoy them and we want lots of pigtures and updates please rolleyes :(|)

Aww agouti looks like my Harvey.
I really wanted a girl so I called him Hazel for a few weeks but he dodnt respond he does with Harvey though.
They almost choose there own name :)

Oh they do choose their names, don't they :D I'm an animal communicator as well, so I always listen to their wishes for a name :) These two aren't saying much right now, so it will be a while before I know their names :{

Alrighty, we've decided on names for the moment. The black and white boy is Jacob and the other boy is Patrick. What do you think? They go with their personalities (from what we can tell) plus they also go with the little boy naming theme for our male critters (Byron, Oliver, Walter, Norman, Tommy, Patrick and Jacob) :D

I just cuddled with both for a couple of mins, and noticed that Patrick is actually a Tortie with a couple of spots of white (on his head and lips). So cute! He's about 3 years old and a lovely weight. Jacob is smaller and shy, but he's got a sweet Mohawk ;) He reminds me of Jacob from Twilight ;) Both are super sweet!

Now a question for everyone: when is it safe to introduce Tommy to them? I know it's a while, but I am not sure how long to wait, and if I do it one at a time?

Two weeks quarantine.

Intro all at once, not one at a time.

Read up on normal boarish behaviour and dominance displays so you don't separate them if it's not necessary.

Good luck!

Also, Jacob looks rather more like a Peruvian or other long-haired breed than an Aby to me.

Thank you! Perfect, was hoping to do the intros all at once :D And glad that Jacob is a peruvian :D His hair looks like it was trimmed maybe?

Yeah, definitely trimmed. If you let it grow a bit, it will probably start looking like this (only in Jacob's colours, obviously):

Intros Part II 8 by JannaLou, on Flickr.

That's Squeak, which I can only tell because he has two brown patches and the upper one is more like a spot than a stripe. :D (The brown is on his shoulders. now you know which end is his head.)

Thank you both so much :D Very very very pleased to have them here :D I can't wait until I can get the cubes put together and build them a nice home with those and get them outside into the glorious sunlight (whenever spring decides to arrive, lol!) :D

I am so pleased they are with you. What lovely boys. Tommy is so cute too and I hope they all eventually become buddies. But even if not, Tommy will surely enjoy having next door neighbours. You can do that with those grid cages by putting a divider in to separate fighting pigs but still have them close enough so they are not lonely. Good luck with eveything!

Thank you Lilly! They are doing very well, enjoying their veggies and love getting cuddles. The guy had told me they didn't like being held much, but these guys are quite happy to get lovins' :D
