So Brownie/ Betty ( I cant decide ) & Daisy have been home with Winny for a week now.. and boy dont I know it!

Ok so 3 pigs produce a lot more poo !

Brownie is a screamer .. EVERYTIME anyone human is eating she starts shouting " where is mine ".. never had such a loud girl!

Brownie is the most confident one but her and Winny have been having some right to do's to see who is boss pig.. lots of rumbling, chasing and one morning at 3am (on the camera) I witnessed Winny climbing on top of Brownies head 😳😳 then lots of chin offs and head butts towards each other.. at one point Daisy joined in....

Daisy likes to chill in the hay box 24/7...

Winny is still scared to death of us if I try and stroke her in the cage ( even tho we have had her for 6 mnths) but she will always take a pea flake from me!

I sort of trained Tallulah to wheek on cue, I noticed if I said in conversation to piggy daddy "dont do that you'll set Tallulah of wheeking" she knows what that means and started wheeking! So if I say really quietly "Tallulah says wheek wheek wheek" she says "WHEEEK! WHEEEEK WHEEEEEK!". Its great for getting off the phone to my old Mum who can talk for 2 hours, I just sit by the cage and say "have to go feed the piggies Mum before Tallulah starts wheeking" she wheeks right on cue :) also off cue at ungodly hours when all rational beings are sleeping, but on cue too!

We definitely need a "Wheek-Off" thread! Jasmine and Pickle are sadly not contenders for strong use of vocals, but come summer, when the grass is growing again, I'm sure I'll hear an increase in decibels with the sound back door closing. :D
 
So it's been 3 weeks now for the trio.... they seem to have settled a bit more but we have mites so am thinking that hasn't helped their mood... had one treatment at the vets & it's not looking an worse so fingers crossed they will be ok.. weighed them this morning and all ok there.. have given Winny & Daisy a little trim around their back end so I can see clearly.. still complete fur balls of fluff tho 😜... 8 Weeks in now........ I believe the mite treatment has worked - they are checked over and weighed every Saturday morning and no visible signs of anything ....

Winny has lost a bit of weight so I have been hand feeding them ALL their breakfast - I noticed that Daisy was stealing Winny's food.... At dinner time, I put Daisy & Brownie in the floor run and Winny can eat her dinner alone - she is a slow eater compared to the other 2 who literally wolf it down in 2 seconds!

Had a bad few days last week or the week before due to dominance issues... they were very severe to the point I had to put Winny on the floor for a few hours as it was relentless.... They all had a good sleep whilst separated which I think was most definitely needed! It was awful for about 3 days...... Even put a cage divider in but that lasted 2 seconds before Winny was biting to much and Brownie was head butting it at speed!

Anyway... things have settled down now - hopefully we won't get a repeat performance..
