The single baby pig I'm sitting is 1 week old tomorrow night. She's only just reached 100g today. I'm slightly worried about her weight. Is there anything I do to help her?
Mum is feeding great and baby sucking often. Any is nibbling hay and nuggets and drinking water from time to time. Will this be enough. I've read a single pig should be a more heavier ?
Mum is small herself so coud it be that it's just the way it is? They go home tomorrow so just want to be able to do what I can before they do. ?

Can I soak some nuggets in water for her?

i kept a weight chart when blossom had her 5 babies in march. birth weights ranged between 85g and 94g. after 8 days the weight range was 98g to 125g. i know there were 5 feeding rather than a lone baby so probably put it on slower due to this but i would think looking at your other thread and her birth weight that she is probably fine. digital scales are more accurate than the sort you are using so the weights you have may be slightly different too. i'm sure someone with more experience will give you advice too.

Thanks. I'm probably worrying over nothing then lol. X

Yeah don't worry one of my piggys had 3 baby's weights ranging between 80 - 100g and another one of my piggys had one baby who weird between 85 - 106g so don't worry, but if she doesn't get any heavier over time I would suggest taking her to the vets
