Feel like I'm doing something wrong.

Delilah isnt drinking. she is still being her ususal cheeky naughty self but is barely drinkin.

She is eatting all her veg & fruit...and always munching on hay and her dry food.

She is also very light...only 470g shes tiny and was compared to the other girls in her pen when we got her

Am i doing something wrong :(
 
Some piggies seem to drink less than others. Two of our girls always drink however our first two piggies rarely drank. They got there water uptake from lots of wet veg. Is your veg that you put in soaking wet? That may answer why she doesn't seem to drink much.

As regards to her weight how old is she? What has she been weighing previously?
 
Yea and she absolutly loves cucumber which i no has water.

We havent had her two weeks yet so only weighed her once. Going to weigh her again tonight x
 
dont panic, my girls hardly drink at all. I make sure their veggies are wet. silly question but can she reach the bottle if she is small? Hope she stops worrying her Mum soon!
 
Sorry forgot got to say...when we got her the pet shop said they think she was 3 months when they got her an shes been in the shop 6 but me an my bf both think shes younger.

Thats not a silly question at all. she can deffo reach her water, we even got her a new water bottle with a longer spout x
 
Mine hardly ever drink from the bottle, i know they are getting enough water as i feed them plenty of fresh veggies each day which i know they get their water from. If she was dehydrated you would know ;) From your pics i think shes younger then you was told :)

we give her plenty of frewh veg and frut daily. anythin she hasnt ate from daybefore we remove.

No word of a lie she was half the size of the other girls.

Ill be weighing her shortly so ill see if shes lost any weight but hopefully shes gained....she doesnt stop eatting x
 
Mine didn't seem to drink when I first got them for about a fortnight. They were getting their veggies, so I didn't worry too much and then one day I saw them at the water bottle. :)
 
So yday when i got my boyfriends she was sitton on top of her house just ever so slightly rocking back and forth. she did that for a bit then when we went into the room she stretched out and made her happy squeaks.

I somehow dont think that rocking was normal tho. god i worry so much.

Couldnt weigh her last night as we couldnt find the scales so going to do it tonight.

Bf just txt to tell me at 7am she somehow managed to get her veggie bowl on top of her house and threw it off. No idea how she managed to do that!

This is her last night...middle of the way through a cage clean before we got her out for a run.
 
She is such a stunning girlie x) the rocking could be her sleeping, Treacle often makes movements when sleeping
