Hiya members of this wonderful forum,

We are pleased to announce the opportunity for you to design the forums 10th Anniversary logo which will be used as the cover photo for the forum Facebook page, but more importantly it will also be used in the design of a 10th Anniversary T-shirt and other merchandise. This competition is open to all members of the forum. Each member is allowed to enter multiple designs if they wish.

The wining entry will be involved with the T-shirt manufacturer to ensure their concept is transferred onto the finished product, this means that hand drawn designs can be submitted, as they can be easily "professionalised" :nod:

The winner of this competition will receive at the very least an Anniversary T-shirt of their design along with any other merchandise produced from the winning design.

Rules, or should we say guidelines -

  • Include a 10th Anniversary logo
  • Incorporate some elements of our original Banner
  • Keep it simple ( keeps down production costs )
  • Reference to Rescue friendly
  • The winning entry will become the property of the forum for it's exclusive use
  • Take into consideration that a range of different coloured T-shirts will be available
  • As usual dressing up of piggies is not allowed in the design
Apart from the above please let your creative juices flow.

The closing date for this competition is Sunday the 20th of March 2016 and then the voting will open for all members to choose their favourite design. The final design will hopefully be available to purchase very soon after this and some of you guys heading to the meet in Birmingham in April might be the first to show them off.

I have no design flair at all but. I hope one of our members will design a beautiful forum anniversary logo

This is the good one! (The borders are cleaned up, it's the only difference. Only seen if the background has colour!) Sorry :stu: (myself):

Thank you @Bowie&Ludo! :lol: It's actually my Teddy. I wanted to use a piggy on it because well, I'd put a picture of a piggy almost everywhere :)) but I didn't want it to be copyrighted, and as I don't know how to draw, I used one of the thousands pics I have of him. I also didn't want it to be too obvious that it was "a particular piggy" so I modified the picture a bit.

I also really like yours, it's simple and goes straight to the point. Sometimes the less the better! :luv:

No need to modify the picture - if you win the competition, I'll be more than happy for you to have a picture of your piggy on the design - and I'm sure everyone else will be happy too .

Aw thank you, that's really sweet!
But honestly, I really like how it turned out, I think it suits the graphic better. And it's still him, I mean, I didn't modify any of his features I just made the picture less realistic, to look more like a drawing.
 
Here's my idea ...

I think a T-shirt similar the the 2006 one would be great ... here is a picture in post no:27 on this thread ...

my sketch is for a green T-Shirt - but the finished T-shirt will be available in all the forum colours

The 3 blank circles will be filled with pictures of forum piggies . Members will nominate pictures and we can all vote for our favourite 3
 
Here is my design:
Tried to get main elements of forum in (eg. medical, housing, food, behaviour and pregnancy) as well as things like the importance of weighing pigs and some elements of the original. It's a long way from perfect but I think I'd wear it. it could also be simplified if needed.
