Yesterday has been the hardest day I lived in a long time
I had to take the hardest decision to have my beloved Fruittie put to sleep
he was a bit off the previous day so I brought him to the emergency vet who did not find anything wrong with him and as he did not eat his veg I had to feed him with oxbow critical care formula.
the following day I left work at lunch time as I felt I had to leave. when I went home he started to bleed.
vet said what we could do if he had an infection but there might be something else too so I decided not to put him through pain.
he looked so tired and did not want to eat that I knew it was over.
I buried him in a lovely field near a little tree, very peaceful place where I can visit him.
Rest well my little one.

I have not stopped crying since as I miss him terribly.
 
I am so sorry for the loss of your little one. It is so hard to lose a piggy. Making the decision to PTS is never an easy one but one we make with all the love we have for them in our heart above all else. Hugs

I have corrected the typo in the title for you.

I am ever so sory for your loss; it sounds like you have made the right decision, as hard and heart-breaking as it is. Fruitti has live to a good old age, but it doesn't make it any easier to let him go after all that time. :(

Sadly, we can never know how long we have our piggies for; all we can do is give them a happy life and love them - and grieve for them accordingly for all the happiness that they have brought into our lives.

very hard after 7 years with him. but i am glad is burried in the best place he could have to rest :) and glad i was with him

very hard to get back home as no greetings or squeek asking for more veg :) i used to give him breaky and dinner in greens and all veg with vitamin c. thanks for correcting the date i was very upset that day .
