I just weighed Matilda and she weighs 840g, last time I weighed her (two weeks ago) she was around 720g. she's about 4 months old. Is this at all normal or should I be worried? (I am worried already!) :...

That is a lot to put on, I would be a bit concerned by that.
What is her diet? Does she live with any other piggies? She may be eating the food for the other piggies and that's why she's gaining more? I can't say without knowing a bit more I'm afraid :(

Weight gain is a good thing its losses you need to worry about.

At 4 months she is still growing so will gain weight rapidly.

I have a spreadsheet for my piggies weight that way you watch trends my boys tend to put some on lose some put some on etc I am now used to their variations so if anything changes drastically I know straight away.

BTW my boys 1206g and 1399g so Matilda has a long way to go lol
I also had a boy who only ever got to 850g so they are all different.

I know she still should be gaining weight, she got pregnant very young so she needed to catch up a bit, its just the sudden gain that worries me.

She does eat a lot, she demands food all the time, she eats a lot of grass but I don't know if that would make her gain so suddenly?

At what age were the boys separated? How long have they been separated now? Exact dates would be very helpful to rule out another pregnancy by one of the boys.

One wa sepearted at three weeks, the other was very small weighed under 240g, I was advised to leave him with his mother but seperate him no later than four weeks. I seperated him at 26 days when he strated rumblestrutting.

Ok, can you remember what date it was you separated him?

It is just as likely she is just making her body weight up after the stress of having a litter, she is still very young so she will be gaining weight, that just seems quite alot in such a short space of time, but i dont know if its normal or not.

Weigh her weekly and see how you get on, if you can also upload any birdseye pics of her this would be helpful.

They were born on 16th January, he was seperated on 10th Feb. I really hope she's not pregnant again :( I can't handle any more babies, I can only just about cope with the ones I have...

I seriously would not be worried at all just yet. Most of the very young mums bounce back very quickly after weaning as their bodies are finally able to put all that fast conversion of food into building their own bodies up, after using it for so long nourishing a pregnancy and then nursing the babies.

ETA (as long as there is zero chance that she was with a male when she gave birth).

Hopefully Suzy will be along shortly and advise if that is normal weight gain, i'm sure you wont be in trouble if Suzy was giving advice when they were born. x

There were no males anywhere near her when she gave birth! Of that I am certain. She was always a little one so hopefully she's just growing a bit now.

60g a week is nothing to panic about, she sounds like she is catching up the growing. Anything on about 70 or about g a week then you need to start worrying about pregnancy, but honestly, no need to worry right now. Sounds like you took out the baby boars early enough too.
