We have had a move around in our lounge and I am excited that we now have enough space to be able to upgrade our boys cage. They currently have a pretty standard 120cm cage. My problem is we have our Syrian hammie's zoozone2 sitting ontop of their cage and there is no space anywhere else for it so if we upgrade we still need to be able to sit his cage ontop. I would prefer C&C but not sure if it would be sturdy enough, what do other people think?

The comercial cage is likely to be much more sturdier, however you can add reinforcements to strengthen your C&C i have wooden beams running through mine so i can have an upper hay loft area, not sure how well it would support a whole other cage, though especially as you’d need some sort of entrance.
