In case the title didn't give it away, I'm not a very happy piglet. I've just got back from the doctors where I've not only got psoriasis but I've also got a fungal infection IN the psoriasis skin. Beat that! So hello more antibiotics, more steroid scalp applications, more steroid creams...

And more not daring to touch the piggies for some time. Thankfully it isn't ringworm, but argh whyyyy. I really hope I haven't passed anything on already.

Mate i am so sorry buddy, hope the creams work for you quickly, if not see a Dermatologist, the best thin I ever did was find my Derm, She is amazing - changed my life

Yeah I think she's referring me to a dermatologist, absolutely nothing seems to keep the psoriasis under control right now. I blame stress. I just hate the fact my head is so itchy, it makes me look like I have headlice but I really don't, it's just my skin.

I know mate, I get eczema - luckily rarely on my face, i have a little psoriasis which is kept under control with steroid cream, a derm will normally give you a strong steroid cream then you step down the steroid ladder as it gets under control. Keep pushing for that referral. What cream they given you? Sending you a hug buddy

Daktacort 2%/1% w/w, and Betnovate 0.1% w/w for the scalp

Yep. Miconazole and hydrocortisone, it's for the chest. Then the betnovate for the scalp, which is far worse than the chest is. Plus the flucanazole for a week.

Sounds nasty and painful! Hope you get it under control soon. I get a bit of eczema and that is bad enough. Psoriasis is nasty!

No kidding! Also never had hayfever til I moved to England lol. But my skin is literally peeling off at the minute, which is gross. It needs to stop

Nasty!:vom: I get such bad hayfever even Acupuncture doesn't keep it under control. I am allergic to everything from mould spores to all types of pollen and strong perfumy smells too. I am on year round anti-histamines. Oddly I am not allergic to hay!:yahoo:

I feel your pain, I have a dust mite allergy.

Here’s hoping it gets under control for you soon. Sounds awful, sorry to hear you’re going through this. Xx
