My guinea pig has 2 lumps behind her left leg, squigy and somedays bigger then smaller.
Took her to vet, who also felt lumps in her lower belly that were harder.
No samples taken but has told me its "Leukaemia"
She is eating fine and still popcorning with her sister, showing no signs of pain.
Anyone got any advice?

she is the "small furries" expert at my local vets.
Was going to take samples from lump behind leg to see if it was a sebaceous cyst and then said it was the wrong "texture" so didn't bother.
I was hoping for a lipoma but she said it was "too firm"

I would definitely get a 2nd opinion. I'm confused how the vet came to that conclusion without a single test.

Just to update.
Fudge is still very healthy, eating and running around. The lump increases in size and then reduces other days.
Due to my FIL having a fall and passing suddenly I have taken a while to pursue any treatment for Fudge.
Two weeks ago went back to vets, was told original vet put "leukaemia " on notes but probably meant "lymphoma ".
Samples were taken and got results last night.
Came back as "panniculitis ".
Vet is going to chat with exotic vets on some WhatsApp group to see what can be done.
Can't find much info on this.
Anyone has any experience of this?
Thank you

So sorry for the loss of your FIL.

I have no experience of panniculitis but I will hold you and Fudge in my thoughts

Thank you for your kind words,
