Have just seen this on a vegan forum i use:

"My friends friend has to go abroad in a week and will have to emmigrate.

She has two cats and 2 guinea pigs. She lives in Malton North Yorkshire.
Transport can be arranged.
Guinea Pigs come with a small hutch.

If you or anybody you know can help this is urgent , we have less than 6days to find them a home.

Thank you
."

Dont know if anyone can help/offer a home, i know no more details but can find out if needed.

If anyone can help please PM me and il pass details over to this person on the vegan forum!

Thanks Alison

I live in Malton, North Yorkshire!

If I can help I will! if its girls I *might* be able to take them in myself (if I persuade boyfriend), if its boys at least I could provide a temporary home, or help with transport.

are they boys, girls, any idea?

and I just realised, one of my colleagues from work is fostering for the Cats Protection League, so I might ask her if I see her today if she might be able to take the cats in :-)

If you can provide more details about age, sex, condition, and please photos too, then I can try to sort the rest.

Brill thanks! I will pass info on or rather ask for info on the cats/guineas!

Back later!

Ulrike your inbox is full,i was trying to pm you re these two piggies if you need a forever home for them

I have some spare room

Hi the person on the other site has not been on tonight but have left a message that there are people interested in the guineas and poss the cats :)

Will let you know more details about the guineas/cats as soon as i can!

Hi I can't help at the moment (well I could short term) but when the weather sorts itself out I'm planning on expanding. After reading on this site about the way some piggies are treated I'm so upset. I'm in Whitby so if you ever get desperate I'm not far away.

Hi

Thought id posted here earlier? but must of deleted it? ::)

Not got many details the guineas were born last Sept - lived together since - she doesnt know the sex. No transports avail to Nottingham (but am sure that could be arranged thru here?)

I have got the contact details for the poster on the other site (mobile no) Abnoba is it best i PM the details to you as your in Malton?

Does the cat foster person live near to Malton? I have no further details about the cats but reckon you would get more by phone?

Thanks :) Alison :)

The girl I work with that fosters for cats protection league is in Malton aswell (Norton, which is maybe 1 mile from Malton?) She says I will have to ring the guy from the cats protection league who is responsible for this area, i have got his number now.

So if you get me some details about the cats, I will ring him, see if they got any spaces right now, and if yes I will go and pick the cats up straight away.

About the piggies - if you could PM me the adress and phone number of the girl in Malton, I can go there today or tomorrow and look at the piggies, see if I can sex them, etc.
Are they kept indoors or outdoors?

Eek! is your mailbox full? as i know mine was the other day so would not accept any more mail!

Will email you the tel no again :)

Off to PM you now!

I gather the 2 guineas are a pair a girl and a boy together? So I'm guessing more might be on the way ::)

Getting complicated!

I will ring her tomorrow morning, and see when is most convenient for her to meet up, then I can have a look and hopefully its two girls... *sigh*

Hello I would be happy to rehome these! I can pick them up tomorrow! for five star home .Please let me know if they are still available thanks very much

Ok, we talked today, the piggies and her rabbits are already rehomed!

:)

Sadly, the cats arent, a few people showed an interest and then said no at last minute :(

she says the piggies got offered five homes, and the cats none.. and she desperately wants to know that they have a good home when she leaves..

So I suppose I will start a new thread about the cats in the animal rescue forum, with more details about them.
