Question #1 is, I was wondering why Bacon's fur is so much shinier than Smokey's.

Question #2 is, I was also wondering how to get them to be up and about more often, they aren't ill but I'd just like them to be a bit more active.

Thanks in advance :luv::luv::luv:

Some piggies have shiny fur, others have fuzzy dull fur. Depends on the breed but most of out forum piggies are a bit "mixed" so defining breed is a bit tricky as we don't breed or show and tend to adopt lovable randoms!
As for getting your pigs more active, I think your idea of changing round the cage is good. Ours get a new set of furniture twice a week at every clean out that makes them want to explore it. Also maybe add some edible furniture like haycubes or carrot cottages occasionally, and mix up how their dinner arrives- serving up fancy hay and veggies in a brown paper bag or a big brown envelope once or twice a week is ridiculously exciting for them :)

I find rearranging cages helps too. Another thing I do is to put a fresh handful or two of hay in the hay trays at odd intervals throughout the day when I am home this causes much excitement!

I've a box to put in tomorrow, I know they'll pee in it after 2 seconds of it bring in their cage though :lol::)):D
They love a cardboard box full of hay, mine love Amazon delivery boxes better than the expensive stuff I have delivered for them. Might last 4 hours until its soaked with pee but it's a very exciting 4 hours. Mine like 3 doors cutting in the box and the roof taping shut :)

We get our food for Poppy from Tails.com it's custom made and I use those boxes every month :D:D:D
