I have a piggy called George who is a 'rescue' from a pet shop - please don't judge me on that.
He's been very happy with us for over 4 years - he is 5 now. We were told he couldn't live with others due to the fact he was bullied by his siblings. He has never been brought inside over winter, he really isn't bothered by this. We deep litter him and he has a 2 tier hutch (apparently size suitable for 1 rabbit + 2 guineas) he seems very happy, we call it Georges mansion he has heated snuggle beds as well. George is very particular after we clean the hutch, every tunnel, bedding area, nugget bowl, is re-arranged if not exactly where it was before. I'm still worried about him being lonely. Could I introduce another piggy? There are 2 currently in adoption that have always lived together is it feasible for them to form a bond? Any advice would be greatfully received. Thank you.

@Georgepig No pig is destined to be a lone pig. There are some that are more difficult to bond but there is always a pig out there for them.

However, a trio of boars is a very difficult combination to work so if the two in adoption are boys then I wouldn't tempt fate. I'd look for a single boar or a female if George is neutered.

Thank you. He very friendly with us, a bit skittish at times, he's not neutered - we didn't see the point putting him through an operation as we had been told to keep him separate from other pigs. I will look for a lone pig who needs a home instead. Thanks again @Jaycey
