Has anyone made a loft with a ramp on either side?
Was thinking it might stop arguments about going up or down the ramp at the same time 🙄 and also be fun for zoomies 😁

I’ve not done it myself.
My concern would be the impact on the floor space on the bottom level, but it is going to depend on your cage size and set up - the impact would be less in a three grid wide cage and more in a two grid wide cage for example. I completely understand why this would be useful but there could be a risk of it creating a bottle neck and interrupting the floor space on the lower level (given it is the lower level that counts on floor size, not the upper levels) maybe

Thanks. Food for thought about the width. Currently have 2 in a 5x2. Maybe could rebuild to a 3x4. Always wanting to rebuild the cage 😀

I’ve never done it either but agree with @Piggies&buns re the space. You’d have to make it quite a bit wider and longer to account for the loss of uninterrupted floor space.

The boys had an upper level previously but never had a disagreement about going up and down the ramp.
