Hello all,

i have 5 piggies. 2 boys in separate cage which is 2 tier.

the 3 girls are in a plastic cage one level. i have 2 of these type cages. i was looking on ebay and just Googling for a 2 tier cage for the girls. i was wondering if i could do a DIY of the 2 cages and make or buy a ladder? or there was a 2 tier cage on Amazon for £55. i am trying to figure more value for money really. the plastic ones i have a great. the Amazon one is wood.

i live in a flat and piggies have their own room :))

any advice will really help.

thank you

kim

What size are the plastic cages, and are they the type with a plastic tray underneath and a wire cage top, such as a Ferplast or Midwest? If they are that sort, I don't think you could simply stack them, the tops don't feel strong enough for that to me, so you would need to make some supporting frame for the top one - and that sounds very complicated to me. What is the one on Amazon called? I've never seen a wooden 2-tier cage, only wooden hutches.

Lucky piggies having their own room! :tu:

i thought cage was £19 but as you checkout goes up. ...

It would be better if you could get a larger one level cage?

Have you thought of c&c ?
