Hello any advice would be much appreciated. My pigs are my bedroom on the 2nd floor it gets terribly hot when it reaches 27 and 28 degree worried about heat stroke as had a previous pig found in a bad way once. Thinking about getting an air cooler and wondering if anyone has had any experience using one to try cool the air of a room that is 27 degrees. Thank you

Thank you I'm new to guinea pig forum I didn't realise thanks for letting me know
Welcome to the forum! You have been given great advice and I have nothing to add to it but wanted to say if there's anything else you're unsure of or need help with, feel free to ask. 😊

My pigwigs enjoying a wrapped icepack during our heatwave last year:wub:

You’ll find lots of advice in the link above! I didn’t have an ac back then so I wrapped multiple frozen water bottles/ice packs in towels and put some inside oven mitts as well. I also put the pigs inside their playpen so they wouldn’t have to be on thick fleece. They were very good, drinking lots and waiting it out.

Welcome to the forum.
There’s lots of good information here but it takes time to find where everything is.
Keep asking questions.

I use freezer blocks wrapped in tea towels when it gets hot here.

We would love pictures of your piggies
