I am guessing the forum doesn't like you using 'text' talk or lazy writing?
Every now and again I see *** in place of words is this the reason?
I like it, means its easier to read then having to try and work out what each word means/says lol :))

Not a fan of text speak at all! Yep it is largely banned here I think mainly because we have unlimited space so there isn't a call for it. :)
 
Are they maybe swear words:x:x:x

I've seen this before too, and I wasn't sure about why either!:))
 
Yes, there is a swear filter at work, it also acts as a "textspeak" filter as it is requested in the Forum Rules that "proper" speech is used as it's very tricky to read text speak :)
 
Ahh... is that why a post I put in the addicts club was moderated? I must have done a text speak wthout realising it as I have no idea about how to do text speak :red
 
the word I write all the time on here abbrevaiated is "probably" and looks like i'm swearing as just write the first four letters and it stars it out wierd! :(
 
Don't worry, it happens to me too, and others who usually use otherwise impeccable language! Sometimes it can pick on something quite accidental and make it look like it's a swear word, but what I try to do to minimise it is click "preview post" before I actually submit it - that way you can see if your text and pictures have worked without having to edit your post later :)
