firstly he is getting a friend...hubby thinks he needs one too after we played some sound clips of guinea pigs and naboo kept wheeking for a friend,

Secondly....hubby and naboo have bonded better then me and naboo he gets cuddles and is eating carrots from daddys hand whilst being held :)

thirdly can anyone help...everytime daddy strokes him he wheeks....not the pigeon scaredy sound but a wheek wheek noise like he is talking and he nibbles daddys shirt so we get carrot and he stops wheeking then even if you pat him gently or stroke he wheeks lol

I'm very pleased - I think Naboo reacting to those guinea pig sounds just says it all really! And I'm really pleased he's wheeking, guinea pigs chuckle in different ways but they chuckle when you cuddle them. This sounds like a pleased piggy, chuckleing when stroked. Go Naboo!
 
Yay for Naboo indeed! And yay for you talking hubby into it. The playing guinea pig sounds is a brilliant way of showing how they need company. I will remember it!
 
yeah well hubby is such a animal lover i knew he would understand once he didnt think it was me wanting a pair of babies lol....i hope the noise naboo made only when stroked lots was a positive sound because he seemed fine. On the first day we held him he just stayed there stiff in gear but now he tried to wriggle and see the tv hehe but it looks liek he is a daddys boo when i have been the one feeding him, spending hours chatting lol isnt it always the way lol
 
Sounds like Naboo knows EXACTLY who he needs to work his charm on! :(|)

Great news about a companion - I always marvel at the amazing change that happens when a single (In my case, bereft) piggy meets a friend. It's like you suddenly turn on a switch and the piggy REALLY comes to life!
 
thanks guys hopefully we will get one asap when nutmeg has sexed her little ones or if not another fab poster in manchester (whos name does escape this second sorry) who has little boys. Yup naboo should be a girl trying to sweeten daddy up....he made the noise briefly when i had him but maybe he feels safer with a mans hands round him? dunno
 
That's good news. Tell him to try the chin tickles and ear rubs too.
I 'think' the largest of Picnic's babies is a boy, but he is only 4 days old yet, so a fair way to go.
If you want to strike whilst the iron is hot, the name you were looking for is Suzanne (Logiebear) she has some that are ready pretty much now I think, and will only be up the M62 from you. x
