Good morning everyone, yestarday I bough 2 beautiful 3 months old baby boys- Henry and Coco (not named after cocain...), but they are so scared bless them. Since we brough them home they've been hidden in a corner all the time, every time when me or my partner try to even aproach them they start crying or hide even more. We kept the room where they are in silence for a while so they can eat and they did but they refuse to drink water. They are just terrified from us and I want to adapt them but I don't know how to, it just breaks my heart when I see them so scared. They are my first Guinea pigs so any tips will be helpful.

I do apologize about any writting mistakes, English is not my native lenguage.

Thank you!

Welcome to the Forum.
You will get lots of friendly advice here.

The best place to start is reading some of the threads here:
Quick Information Bundle For Wannabe Owners

It covers pretty much everything.

And them being so shy and scared is perfectly normal - you are not doing anything wrong.
The best thing to do at this stage is make sure they have several houses to hide in and cover part of their cage with a sheet or blanket.
You want to try and make them feel as safe as possible.
When you go into the room to feed them or check on them just talk gently to them so they get used to you being around.
In a week or two you can start to introduce small amounts of fresh vegetables and hand feeding will help them learn to trust you and associate you with good things.

You will get there, but guinea pigs take time to settle in.
