I currently have 2 adult male guinea pigs who do not get along (bloodshed twice so they are separated by touching c&c grids).

I also have 2 baby males (around 9 weeks) who are brothers - they are currently living with 1 of my adult boars in a large area and all are happy. However, I do know that 3 male piggies will not work when they grow up - so this is not a permanent solution.

My plan was to put 1 baby with 1 of the adults, and 1 baby with the other adult male.

What does everybody think of this?
Is it unfair to split the brothers up? (Putting them both with an older male who will dominate them during their youth).
Should I really keep the babies together and go boar dating for the 2 older boars? I wouldn't mind this.

I am just a bit torn over what to do and could use some advice :)
What do you guys think?

I agree with @Piggies&buns . It is certainly worth a try. I would recommend that you attempt a bond first with the more submissive of the baby boys and see how that goes and then keep the other one as your plan B.

Our detailed bonding guide contains special chapters on baby-adult and on boar-boar bonding: Bonding and Interaction: Illustrated social behaviours and bonding dynamics

I agree. Definitely not unfair. I hope your pairs work out! Good luck with the bonding 🤞
