5 lbs frozen carrots

I do a big shopping trip to the grocery store once a month and then weekly trips for fresh produce and so on.
A few days ago I shopped and bought the pigs a nice frsh bag of carrots. I did not notice when I was putting things away that it was in a bag of meat packages I put in the deep freeze.

Do you think I can defrost the carrots and give them to the piggies or should I just save them for when I make stews for me?

It's for the stew pot... We remember reading a thread about it, sorry can't find it though... Freezing veggies changes them in some way making them inedible for piggies and such like..

You cant feed defrosted veg to the piggies I'm afraid.
