Junior Guinea Pig
I have two female sows. One never rumbles, only seen it less than a handful of times. The other one is constantly rumbling around my other piggy. The rumbler is a lovely social guinea pig, she'll lie down on our laps and jump into our arms but as soon as she's back in the cage with her friend, she rumbles around her... and whenever she walks about her cage she rumbles all the way from point A to point B. They're very spoilt, have a hide each, two platforms, a hammock, always food available. Fresh veg daily. Put them in a playpen every day for a change of scenery and run around. After an hour or so she starts trying to scale the wall because she wants to go back to her "home" which we know she loves because she'll start popcorning. Then the other one goes in and it's just rumbling. It comes across as dominance but now she does weird things like rumbling as soon as we stroke her... but pick her up or put her on lap and she's happy as! She'll spread her legs out and make content chatty noises. She's not aggressive at all. But it's like she only knows to rumble now. As I said, even when we stroke her in her house. And the other piggy gets annoyed and sprays at her
