7 weeks of pure joy!

7 weeks ago I was shocked to hear my son shouting 'mummy there are mice in with the Girls' the mice turned out to be Sunnies three babies.

Later that day after a very emotional phone call to a certain nationwide pet store who i might add wanted my girls or rather we will get 'rid' of them for you! I came home to find two more, this time Sooki had given birth and more tears from me!
My babies who we had only had for 6 weeks had babies and i was joyful and nervous and in awe of these perfect little babies! :<>

7 weeks on and three have gone to new homes Bill(now Jerry) and Gizmo both boys to a wonderful home across the road so iget to see them when ever i want :)

Boo, a little girl to My bestest friend Zoe and her family who have kept guinea pigs before and were desperate to share in my joy, They found her a friend to live with and they say i must have spoiled her as everytime she heres a plastic bag rustle see wheeks for food! :))

The last two boys are staying here Teddy and Mouse(names only ever meant for nicknames til they found forever homes! Mouse has stuck altho trying to change it to buddy) I'm thrilled they are staying and wish really wish that the babies hadnt gone....:( I miss them soooooooooooo much


But the joy they brought into my life altho unexpected has been wonderful.

Ahhhh! Great to hear that you've found homes for the little 'uns. Especially as you can keep in touch with them :)
 
AWWW - he's gorgeous!

It is so hard to let go of your babies (I had to do it with my own surprise babies), but at least yours have not gone far, so you can keep tabs on them.

Babies are such a delight, and I still treasure those few precious weeks I had with my pups!
 
Exactly the same thing happened to us, and though we'd never have set out to have babies, we wouldn't have missed them for the world. We found a nice home for three of the boys and kept two more.
 
Does anyone know why teddy looks as if has had a bad perm?

And here is mouse, altho wanting to rename to Buddy i seem to call him mouseybrown :)
 
I dunno haha but it drives me crazy! I brush him like every day and he still looks messy like 15 minutes later
