It’s a big day for Maude! She’s going to the vets at 8.50, for exploratory surgery, to investigate the abdominal mass that was detected at her last visit.

Mass is already bigger than it was a couple of weeks ago, so we are definitely doing the right thing. It’s going to be a long day.

Quick update on Maude!

It was a large mass that was attached to the liver! It’s all been removed and will be sent for histology.

Maude is awake and doing well. I’ll be heading off to collect her soon!

Glad it’s gone ok. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery and I hope it’s nothing sinister.

Maude’s home and in the house, in the hospital cage. Her friends have come to visit, but I suspect they may stay for a sleepover! It’s a bit of a squish in the hospital, but as long as they behave themselves, they’re welcome to stay.

Tomorrow they can all return to their large cage in the log cabin!

Simon Maddock at the Cat and Rabbit Care Clinic did the surgery. He’s an amazing surgeon x
