I want to thank everyone who gave me advice and support yesterday after I bought Edward home from his neuter and a special thank you to Wiebke who gave calm sound advice when I felt neither calm or sound. I am pleased to tell you Edward ate well this morning and looked more like his old self.:yahoo:

Great news... Onwards and upwards... yeah... :D

That's good to hear, I'm glad Edward is already seeming back to normal!

I hope he continues to recover well...

:)

Great news! You must be so relieved! I hope that Edward has a very smooth and quick recovery from now on and will enjoy meeting the lady of his dreams!

My new "husboar" Bedo says that married life was well worth the hassle with the vets!

Thank you. Fingers crossed that all will be well. I am so looking forward to the time he can have a friend.

Please keep weighing him daily for the next the two weeks and see a vet as soon as possible if he loses weight and his appetite; that usually indicates an infection of some sort.
Keep an eye on his privates for any swelling and hot spots for the next couple of months as that could mean an abscess.

I hope that there won't be any problems, but it is better to know what to look out for and have it addressed promptly.

I am so pleased to hear that Edward is looking better today.

Thank you yes i will weigh him and keep a close eye on his bits .

Fantastic news x if he is anything like the three piggies ive had done in the past he will be one very excited and happy chap on the day he can finally meet a loverly lady!

So glad he is on his way to recovery.
CavyCorner in Doncaster is probably the nearest rescue to you, they are highly recommended by many people in here.

Edward was running around and popcorning this afternoon and has nearly put the weight back on he lost. I have (and still do) kept animals for nearly thirty years and I love them all but these little guinea pigs really get in your hart don't they?

It's amazing how much character they can have, i can't believe and how much of a connection you can get with them... cute lil fluff balls! :P

I'm glad Edward is feeling much better!

Pleased Edward is OK. I bet you're feeling so much better as well now that the operation has been done and he's doing so well.
