I haven't seen my girls touch any water yet! I had the normal water bottle, then last week i read on here to put a bowl of water in, which i did and i haven't seen them anywhere near either of them!
 
Some guinea pigs rarely drink water. When I got my first two they never touched water until I got another guinea pig and she did. They then copied. They get water from vegetables too. You could try holding the spout to their mouths. You could try adding a vegetable to the food bowl. That is what my partner tried and as they went to eat the lettuce they learned to drink water.
 
Ahh i will try the veg to the water bowl as they are too skittish for me to touch them, they will take veg from my hand but then they do a runner with it lol

Aww ! It is very positive they take food from you though.
 
I put some carrot in the water bowl and they have taken all four pieces! Yaaaay! x
