I opened our garden gate to find the run full of pigs.....

My/our pigs I might add!

There was that brief moment when I thought they'd been clever enough to make the most of a gorgeous afternoon and put themselves out..... but obviously that wasn't the case! OH had got home early and braved catching them all in carriers from their shed run. It was still reading 16C at 4:30, and they've certainly enjoyed the grazing. :D They're all safely tucked back up again in their hutch now.

They all went potty out there. Zoomies the lot! :D Couldn't catch young Wellington on camera as she zoomed around between grazing. :yahoo:

Anyone would think they'd been shut into tiny boxes all winter and not in their large hutch + shed run combo.

They've been having an occasional portion of grass for the last few weeks, so all's well there.

Aw beautiful! I bet they loved it. I can't wait for all of my girls to get out on the grass again today. It was too damp here today :( But I left the shed door open for some fresh air. Love it when they sniff the air investigating. :)

Lucky them. When I brought Archie in today I found his hutch was swarming with ants who were trying to build a nest in his cosy sack.

Beautiful piggies and they look like they had the most perfect day.

They had a great time. :D Roll on spring I say, we had a cool breeze inspite of all the sun today so they had to make do with a bag of grass and the shed door being left open whilst we humans were pottereing round gardening.

Yuck - but at least ARchie wasn't in the hutch whilst the ants started building.

he was, he was a bit jumpy. i think maybe some bit him lol.

I bet they enjoyed the first summer run time of the year! I bet the zoomies were a sight to watch!

:D They certainly were.

My lawn could do with some serious pig grazing to, it's getting pretty long in patches. I hope we have another warm weekend on the way.
