I just got my little Ariel out for a cuddle and had her on my lap for a bit and noticed she was being a bit odd, stretching her back legs out and rolling a bit like she is trying to get comfortable. she has been eating an pooing and weeing and doesn't seem to be having problems with this, I just can't work out what is making her uncomfortable, she isn't bloated or squeaking as if she is in pain, but i have kept her in and she is tearing up the paper and seem to itching/biting at her self a bit, does anyone have any ideas, i am going to keep an eye on her and hope she settles soon otherwise its a trip to the vets in the morning :( i just don't know how to explain it (its almost like a horse with colic)

Don't really have any advice, but didn't want to read and run...

Is she walking around ok? You say she is biting herself a little, whereabouts? Is she scratching, any scabs, fur loss etc?

I decided to race her to the vets before they closed, and they gave her some pain relief and a gut stimulant, i had to take her to the one round the corner and not our normal exotics one but i wouldn't have got their in time, she isn't really eating at the moment so may have to syringe feed her something, shes on a hot water bottle at the moment and not really doing much i am going to keep an eye on her throughout the night as i am really worried, just fingers crossed she improves a bit :( i think the biting might be because she has pain in that area? there isn't any scabs or anything there :(

She is doing really well today so far, she has eaten and everything else and has not done any rolling or strange things, i can only assume it was something making her tummy hurt and she was really uncomfortable but i don't know what it was! Just hope it doesn't happen again as i was so worried keeping a very close eye on her at the moment

Hi, just been reading this, you did well to take her to the vets, they can go down hill so quickly. Let's hope it was a one off and she is OK now x

Wouldn't have forgiven myself if i hadn't and she had got worse :( thankfully she is back to being her naughty self and hopefully she won't scare her mummy again the little tinker!

I'm not and expert but she could have fleas or something that she might have caught while shes being out eating grass if i were you i would take her to the vets and hope for the best xox
