Ok thanks for the reply. I have 2 females. The cage is around 1170 square inches. But I am thinking of getting a 2x4 c&c cage.
Hi!Ok so I want to know if this cage is too small for 2 guniea pigs. I want to know if I have to upgrade my cage to a c&c. I have no problem with that and I just need to do if that’s necessary.
Of course! Thanks so much, I didn’t know wether to put another, larger hay rack. Thanks for telling me.Hi!
I agree with the advice above, but something that wasn't mentioned is that ideally, you need a lot more hay than what you are offering. Large piles are best, as they can eat and nest at the same time.
I hope that this helps!![]()
I was planning that I would cut back their pellets as I would feed them veggies. I’ve been trying to get them on veggies but it’s been a struggleAs above. I’d actually try and stretch to a 2x5 if you can. Also please be aware that pellets should be limited - a tablespoon for each piggy per day. They’re the junk food of the piggy world![]()
This is the amount of hay I give when I refill. I refill around 2 times a day, depending on how much they ate.Hi!
