A cut

My Guinea Pig is very jumpy and nervous, so when I pick him up he'll try to go back in the cage, which I know is normal. But, my Guinea Pig was in my arms and as I was putting him back in the cage, he jumped from a high area. He got a little skin peeled of but no bleeding, I gave him a carrot and he is happily munching. The cut is right beneath his noes. Should I look more into it?

Please have his mouth vet checked in case he has snapped his incisors and they are broken or wobbling. They are about 4 cm long and run along the upper and lower jaw way back to roots at the back of the mouth just in front of the back teeth. That is why pressure from the front can so easily snap them. It can cause problems with the picking up and cutting of food.
