Cuddlepigs
Since my sister and I moved into this place, we have been getting our Foodslave used to some early mornings. Start as you mean to go on. Around 5am we begin doing our morning circuits of Chez Pig, squeaking, a bit of popcorning. Just enough noise to rouse her from her slumber and if that doesn't work we both go and give the water bottle a good hearty rattle for twenty minutes. Apparently we get bored with things after five minutes....is that five minutes human time? Cos GP time is a bit longer hehehehehe!
Once she is up, and boy does she look rough in the mornings, she stumbles out into a place we don't go to and makes all the noises we KNOW mean breakfast is coming. Sometimes we have to shout a bit louder to hurry her along. I do most of the shouting as I am Top Pig, but I must say my sister Lou has a loud singing voice when she tries and has made our slave jump by suddenly launching into an aria at top volume. She dropped the food bowl once because she was laughing so much.
Once breakfast arrives we tuck in immediately whilst our slave showers and dresses and does more things out in the place we don't go. She then comes in and clears away our dishes and tidies our cage up and removes all the carefully laid beans from overnight. We get nice fresh hay and food and two hay stuffed toilet roll tubes with grape hidden inside. I haven't quite got the hang of them yet and have to fling them around a bit to dislodge a grape. Then we doze for a bit...zzzzzzzzzzzzz
At around 1130am we get a tad peckish and have a shouting session to see if we will get some service in this shoddy restaurant. Usually a bit of cucumber appears which does very nicely thank you! We like the green outside bit and leave the slimey inner bit for our slave to pick out of the hay. It gives her something to do. Then time for more sleep.
About 3pm, our slave gets up and starts faffing about with big panel things, putting them around the room, and moving things like wires and heaters out of the way. She then puts a big green blanket down on the ground, some news paper on it and then heads out to the place we don't go to get some food!
We don't get the same thing all the time, sometimes we get herby stuff, others we get lettuce and veg. She puts it in tunnels and on the blanket, hidden under things and also has a little bit in bowls but we tend to get to that last! It's really nice to go hunting about for our dinner. I got a bit lost once and ended up behind a cupboard. I wasn't too bothered but the foodslave went frantic! I can't get round there anymore because she blocked it off but I have a little look every day just in case. I like to wind her up! Hehehe! Just to be helpful we only do our poops and pees on the newspaper which is much appreciated apparently. Put it this way, she gets all gooey and strokes us when we do it so it must be right. Bless her, it doesn't take much to keep her happy.
Lou is the athlete of the family and can move faster than me. In fact she is very happy to do circuits around me whilst I nibble something. I think it's a distraction tactic to make me chase her and drop what I am doing so she can grab it. I'm not that silly though. Most of the time.
After a couple of hours we are both worn out and I usually conk out on the blanket with my legs all stretched out behind me and my head resting on the skirting board. Lou always goes in her igloo for a doze, I guess I am a little more adventurous and enjoy sleeping in the open air. The slave then has to gently airlift Loulou back first and then herd me into an igloo to go home afterward. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Then during the evening I get picked out by our slave for a cuddle and a few treats. She likes to snuggle into our fur and stroke us and I like to give her a lick to tell her I like the fuss. She a nice old stick really. Lou gets a bit stroppy when she has to come home as she loves being fussed so much and takes it out on me when she comes back to the cage. Sisters....who'd have 'them?
Then Foodslave puts in some hay for supper and says goodnight to us for the first time of the evening, as she does it about five more times before she goes to bed. We try not to keep her up overnight. Rattling the waterbottle does not go down well at 3am, and usually results in the bottles being removed and a bowl of water coming in and there's no fun in that. She doesn't believe the innocent looks for a second when she gets up to see who is doing it either.
We quite like our slave, she seems very nice. It took us a while to get used to her as she is very big. We just wish she would speed up the waitressing service a little though. ;-)
