Well after a few really hard weeks which climaxed with my dad being rushed into hospital I have decided for the sake of the piggies to rehome as many of them as possible. :'(

Obviously this is causing some distress with my two younger daughters but I feel I have to do what is right. :'(

We have a mixture of boars and sows, most of them are in groups or pairs already. I will be drawing up a list later on of which pigs are available, this itself is going to be really hard. :-\

I have also come to the conclusion that the rescue side of things will not reopen after christmas. We do of course still have some rescues looking for homes, these we will give priority too of course. O0

The holiday boarding I am not sure on yet, but it is possible that this will come to a close as well.

So sorry to hear this Vicky. I think you are doing the right thing though. Let me know if there is any way I can help. I wish I could look after them all for you.

That must have been such a hard decision to make. I am so sorry to hear things are bad for you. I wish your dad a speedy recovery and please try and have a nice Christmas. I am sure the lovely people on here will help with re homing.
You have done so much for piggies that have come to your care already and found forever homes for many of them so don`t feel bad, you have given so much and now it is time for you and your family.

Okay I have made a new section in my photobucket account for all the ones that we are rehoming. Priority is for the rescues and the boars as we can cope with the girls in the shed for a bit longer.

I am not asking for anything for the piggies, although any donations that people would like to make will be gratefully accepted.

I know exactly what you are going through,I nearly came to the same decission recently when my dad was diagnosed with cancer :'(.

A difficult decision i'm sure, but as you said it's for the best :( i wish you luck in finding forever homes for the furbabies O0 :smitten:
 
Sorry to hear your news, it must have been a very hard decision to make. Hope your Dad is better soon. All the gps look lovely and I would love to adopt one or two, but I live in south wales and but I surpose thats to far away from you. :) :) :)
