A Feeding Problem

I was wondering what I could do to feed my Pig or will Hay and Pellets be fine for that time frame. So I always feed my Pig at 6am in the morning when I wake up and Sunshine is always excited for the new day and is always waiting for her Breakfest but here's the problem. I don't get back till 4pm from School my sister would then feed her at 11am but the Problem is my Sister will be working in the Mornings from now on and my Mom usually forgets to feed Sunshine when I ask her.

Usually Meals go Like

6am
11am
4pm
8pm

So Do I just put extra veggies in the morning i'm not sure what to really do

If you don't have time to feed your piggy fresh vegetables in the morning she will be fine!
Maybe just give her her pellet ration in the morning (you can measure it out the night before if you don't have a lot of time) and make sure she has a huge pile of hay.
Hay is the most important thing, and she should have access to this all the time.
Then you can feed her fresh veggies when you get home.
Mine only get fresh food once a day, and the odd extra piece during handling or lap time.

I’m sure Sunshine will be fine with Veg only in the evening as long as you leave her lots and lots of hay! Hay and fresh water are the most important for her. Pellets are only supposed to be 5% of piggies diet anyway.
Sorry that your Mum forgets to help you but great that you are concerned and caring about your wee Sunshine!

Are you feeding veggies 4 times a day? I think this is perhaps too much as veggies account for a small portion of their diet

I usually only feed her 1 cup a day as thats what my Vet reccomended i feed her about 1/4 cup at each meal but I can lower it if needed

Thanks alot usually I feed 1/4 a Cup each Meal but Hay and Water is available around the Clock pellets are always in stock in her cage but there usually for decoration like she eats them sporadically.

Feed my 5 a breakfast of pellets in the morning (5 small handfuls divided into 2 bowls) around 7 ish and a dinner of veg consisting of whatever I happen to have in the fridge that is piggie friendly and they have unlimited amounts of hay during the day. Around 4ish at the moment as it is winter time. During the summer when they are on the grass dinner time is around 9pm. Occasionally I give them some forage treats too such as Burgess Excel Mountain Meadow Herbs or Wilko Nature's Salad. They have access to unlimited water.
